The Owners desired to renovate their existing home in a desired neighborhood to allow them to remain in their home while accommodating their growing family. The project adds a new front porch, family room and entry foyer to the ground floor, five bedrooms on the second floor and a master suite on the third floor with a large private balcony. The final design maintains the traditional style of the neighborhood on the street frontage while dramatically altering the back elevation and massing with the addition of a new gambrel roof to increase the useable area of the third floor.
