Preparation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) as-built documents from on-site, 3D digital laser scan, Point Cloud files for the architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical and electrical building systems. To capture the most accurate information possible, a GPS coordinated, digital laser survey was conducted at the site and the resulting Point Cloud files from various locations outside and inside the entire building were assembled and then imported directly in REVIT Architecture and PM&E. The comprehensive building model was then layered with technical Operations and Maintenance information creating a 3D, virtual building data base suited for seamless access by the Owner’s Facilities Maintenance software. This commitment to the future by OREC places them at the forefront of facilities management to better serve their constituent electrical coop members.
